Château Villa Bel-Air 2022 showcases all the elegance of a fine red Graves. It charms with an expressive bouquet of ripe dark fruits, blackcurrants and blackberries, enhanced by delicate spicy and floral notes, with a subtle touch of oak.

On the palate, the balance between freshness, depth and tannic structure creates a beautifully harmonious wine. The tannins are present yet refined, gaining finesse with time, while the fruity aromas linger in a long, elegant finish.

A characterful Bordeaux, generous without being overpowering, that pairs beautifully with a fine cut of beef, roasted rack of lamb, game dishes or a selection of mature cheeses. Already showing great promise, it will develop even greater complexity with a few years of cellaring.

Located in Saint-Morillon, in the heart of the Graves appellation south of Bordeaux, Château Villa Bel-Air benefits from an exceptional terroir of gravelly and clay-rich soils. The estate was acquired in 1988 by Jean-Michel Cazes, an iconic figure in the Bordeaux wine world, who set out to restore the estate to its former glory.

The red wine vineyards thrive on gravelly soils particularly well suited to the expression of Bordeaux’s renowned grape varieties. The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc brings depth, finesse and balance to the wines.

Through careful vineyard management, traditional winemaking and skilful ageing in oak barrels, Château Villa Bel-Air produces elegant, authentic wines that express both the fruit and the terroir with precision. A fine expression of Graves, combining Bordeaux tradition with contemporary expertise.
