The Estate

Located in Lugon-et-l’Île-du-Carnay, on the right bank of the Dordogne, Château Croix-Mouton benefits from clay- and silt-rich soils that are particularly well suited to Merlot. Developed over many years by Jean-Philippe Janoueix, the estate was sold to Bertrand Ravache in 2023. Château Croix-Mouton is renowned for its fruit-forward, generous Bordeaux Supérieur wines, offering an excellent balance of quality and value.
