Château Tournefeuille – Lalande-de-Pomerol 2024
Château Tournefeuille 2024 is an elegant and generous Lalande-de-Pomerol, produced from vineyards in Néac, on the clay and gravel slopes overlooking the great terroirs of Pomerol. The 2024 vintage stands out for its aromatic freshness, finesse and beautiful expression of fruit.
The nose reveals an appealing bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, with aromas of black cherry, plum and blackberry, complemented by delicate spicy and liquorice notes. Beautiful aromatic freshness brings brightness and vibrancy to the overall profile.
On the palate, the wine is supple, fruity and elegant, with generous texture supported by precise freshness. The tannins are fine and silky, providing structure without weighing the wine down. The fruit remains beautifully present through to the finish, with good length and a subtle spicy touch.
A particularly appealing Lalande-de-Pomerol that focuses on balance, freshness and finesse. Already enjoyable in its youth, it has an ageing potential of 5 to 10 years and will gradually develop greater complexity with several years in bottle.
Château Tournefeuille
Located in Néac, Château Tournefeuille enjoys a remarkable position on a clay and gravel ridge overlooking the Barbanne valley, with views over the prestigious terroirs of Pomerol and the Pétrus plateau. The vineyard covers approximately 18 hectares, all within the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.
The vines are spread across several complementary terroirs: south-facing clay slopes, gravelly rises and clay-limestone plateaus. This diversity allows the estate to produce wines that are simultaneously round, dense, elegant and structured.
The estate favours a respectful approach to viticulture, without chemical weed control or insecticides, with manual leaf thinning and hand harvesting. Winemaking is carried out plot by plot in temperature-controlled concrete vats, with maceration adapted to each terroir. For the 2024 vintage, the wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels, with one third in one-year-old barrels, one third in two-year-old barrels and one third in three-year-old barrels.
