CHANT D’ÉOLE – Brut Rosé

The Brut Rosé from Domaine du Chant d’Éole is an elegant Belgian sparkling wine, produced using the traditional method from grapes grown in the heart of the Walloon vineyards. Its bright, pale pink colour introduces a style that is both fresh, refined and delightfully expressive.

The nose reveals delicate aromas of fresh red berries, notably strawberry and raspberry, complemented by subtle floral notes. On the palate, the bubbles are fine and elegant, with beautiful freshness and a perfectly balanced fruity character. The lively, persistent finish leaves a lovely sensation of freshness.

A refined and convivial Brut Rosé, ideal as an aperitif, but also a perfect match for seafood, delicate fish dishes, light Asian cuisine or red-fruit desserts.

Domaine du Chant d’Éole

Founded in 2010 through a partnership between the Belgian Ewbank de Wespin family and a Champagne winemaker, Domaine du Chant d’Éole has gradually established itself as one of the leading names in Belgian wine. Located in Quévy, near Mons, the estate now covers 56 hectares of vineyards, making it the largest vineyard in Belgium.

The vineyards benefit from a south-facing exposure and chalky soils, particularly well suited to the production of sparkling wines using the traditional method. This white chalk provides excellent drainage while contributing freshness, finesse and a beautiful mineral expression to the wines.

Chardonnay, the estate’s signature grape variety, occupies a central place in the vineyards, alongside Pinot Noir. The first harvest took place in 2013, and the first bottles were released in 2015. Since then, Chant d’Éole has received numerous awards and accolades, contributing significantly to the growing reputation of Belgian sparkling wines.

Produced using the traditional method, the estate’s cuvées are aged on their lees for at least 18 months. The Brut Rosé, made from 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, perfectly illustrates the Chant d’Éole style: finesse, freshness and elegance, with a delicate expression of the Belgian terroir.
