Dagueneau’s Les Monts Damnés sancerre is a highly elegant cuvée, fully expressing the minerality of its Chavignol terroir. The nose is open and fruity (pineapple, lychee), with floral and licorice notes. The palate is rich and deep, with fatness, roundness and volume, aromas of exotic fruits and white fruits. This cuvée is a perfect match for iodized dishes (fish, shellfish, seafood), or goat’s cheese.
Les Monts Damnés de Dagueneau is an atypical cuvée, the only Sancerre appellation wine produced by this emblematic Pouilly-Fumé estate. This Sancerre stands out from the estate’s other wines for its immediately charming, more tender and flattering character.
