This Crozes-Hermitage from Domaine Paul Jaboulet Ainé comes to us from a 6-hectare plot under the name “Les Jalets”, whose soil is covered with round pebbles, identical to those found on the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir. This red wine also derives its name from it: “jalets” meaning “large pebbles” or “pebbles” in old French.
The Crozes-Hermitage cuvée “Les Jalets” is distinguished by its greedy and fruity mouth with subtle tannins, and evolving on liquorice.

We have been cultivating our vineyards using organic farming methods since 2007.
‘Domaine de Thalabert’ in Crozes Hermitage and ‘Domaine de Terre Ferme’ in Châteauneuf du Pape (55 hectares in total) have been completely ORGANIC since 2009. From 2013, all our estates are cultivated organically. We have started the certification process and should obtain it for the 2016 harvest.
The total area of the Paul Jaboulet Ainé vineyards is 113 hectares.
