Mondot is the second wine of Château Troplong Mondot, Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion in 2006. It is a monovarietal Merlot grown with the same care as the vines destined for the first wine. And this, on a limestone soil which perfectly drains the roots. These vines cover an area of about forty hectares and are around twenty years old. The harvest is manual.
