Château Pichon Baron 2020 reveals a beautiful dark garnet color. The fresh, precise and complex nose offers aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, cedar and pencil lead. Description

In 1987, the Pichon Baron estate was acquired by AXA Millésimes, whose aim is to enable great wines from vineyards with a glorious past to express their full potential. The Centre Georges Pompidou launched a competition for the construction of a new winery. The complete reconstruction of the vat room and cellar, as well as the renovation of the château, began in 1988.
Since then, the 19th-century château has been magnified by the water mirror that stretches out at its feet. And since 2008, its silvery reflections have concealed an underground cellar worthy of the Nautilus, with its openings to the water and sky. This underground barrel cellar completes the development of excellent production, in the purest Pauillac tradition.
