Château d’Agassac, Grand vin du Château, comes from the oldest vines of the Domaine and the best soils of deep gravel.
Impressive aromas of wet stone and black berries, as well as purple flowers. On the palate, a very juicy, supple and fleshy set of ripe plums, blueberries and ripe blackcurrants, melted with fine, long and fresh tannins.
It is the archetype of Médoc Moderne, both structured and powerful but also balanced, fruity and endowed with tannins without aggressive astringency.
Made for aging, it will also delight lovers of wines between two ages in love with fruit, substance and balance. It is one of the highest rated and most awarded wines of Haut-Médoc.
