Tignanello grappa is obtained by distilling Sangiovese pomace and Cabernet grapes grown in the Tignanello vineyard, which is located on the Antinori ‘Tignanello’ land in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. As soon as the pomace has finished fermenting, it is removed from the tanks, pressed and taken immediately to the distillery. This procedure ensures that the distillation is carried out using the best quality pomace – rich in alcohol and with good aromatic characteristics.
