Owned by the Antinori family, this superb Nobile di Montepulciano was partly aged in oak barrels of different sizes, while another small quantity was put in small oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation took place. The wine was then aged in wood for 12 months and then another 12 months in the bottle before being marketed. The result is a beautiful deep ruby red color with notes of vanilla and ripe fruit. Rich and long on the palate, with spicy and mineral notes that are typical of this region. Silky tannins indicate perfect maturity.
