On the palate, the first impression may be lively and well-defined, but a feeling of roundness quickly follows. The finish is long and flavoursome, with elegant and delicious aromas of compote”.

Joseph Drouhin’s 2022 Montagny Premier Cru is a great vintage. 2022 offered good ripeness with particularly aromatic white wines, and all the estate’s wines retain their geographical typicity.

Description

A family since 1880

Today, 3 generations of Drouhin preside over the destiny of the House.

It is run by the four great-grandchildren of Joseph Drouhin. Philippe, Véronique, Laurent and Frédéric all occupy key, complementary positions in the family business. They grew up in the vineyards and acquired their wine culture alongside their father, Robert Drouhin. The fifth generation is just around the corner, with Laurène, Véronique’s eldest daughter, joining the company in 2020.

From vintage to vintage, they perpetuate tradition and innovate to go ever further in the quest for that “elegant perfection” for which Joseph Drouhin wines are renowned.

Alongside them, a team of dedicated men and women help to perpetuate the House’s tradition of excellence on a day-to-day basis; they are known as the great Drouhin Family.
