A wine of pleasure, the vines being planted on limestone soil and Kimmeridgian marls with a south, south-west exposure, allowing the Pinot noir to express itself well in a wine which will have a ruby color with purple reflections, an intense nose and typical of red fruits with smoky and vanilla nuances. On the palate, the attack is frank and supple, the fine and velvety tannins give this wine a structured and balanced persistence.
Our gourmet advice: grilled rib steak, grilled pork on the barbecue, rabbit with mustard, roast guinea fowl, Neapolitan pizza, red mullet with basil or chocolate desserts.
Etienne Daulny works his vineyard in a sustainable way. With this Pinot Noir, he gives us a wine full of greed, fruit and sunshine. The tannins are soft and the red fruit flavour is fully expressed. A real treat for Sancerre lovers!
