Marlène Soria’s work is unique in the Languedoc. Her wines are inseparable from the will and charisma of their creator. Mysterious, magical, sometimes inexplicable, they impose a stylistic unity and a rare capacity for aging, especially the whites, true UFOs for the region.
Cuvée Oro, made from rolle, roussanne and viognier grapes and aged for almost ten years in vats and bottles, has been produced in the heights of Saint-Pargoire since the early 1990s, and is as limited as it is coveted. The reds, on the other hand, are quite tightly woven, even hard on the palate. Dominated by a solar syrah from very low yields, they are aged for a long time in the cellar to civilize their tannins (a minimum of two years in vat, doubled by as much rest in bottle).
