Tramontane “Macabeu” 2023
On the northern slopes of the Albères, along the Spanish border, there are old vines of Macabeu, an old traditional Catalan grape variety with subtle and fresh aromas. This Tramontane white wine goes well with salads, anchovies, goat cheese.
In the end, the wine offers lots of citrus, spices and a nice minerality. On the palate, the wine is fat and ample, with a nice acidity.
To drink in its youth, this cuvée from Tramontane Wines is excellent with grilled fish, shellfish and seafood, marinated anchovies, grilled sardines or simply a seafood salad.
