A wine of rare elegance, from old vines, made from Clairette, Grenache blanc, Ugni, Bourboulenc and Muscat. A white wine with exceptional aging potential, in its youth it has a golden color with a nose of floral aromas and finely woody fruit. On the palate, an elegant and powerful wine supported by great freshness. After a few years it will take on an old gold hue with a sumptuous bouquet. Our advice: Mediterranean fish (red mullet, grouper, scorpionfish), seafood, grilled veal chops, scrambled eggs with truffles or Provençal stuffed vegetables.

Description

Château Simone is located four kilometers from Aix en Provence in the town of Meyreuil.
This former bastide of the Great Carmelites of Aix has been owned by the Rougier family since 1830. The vineyard is a mosaic of plots in a wooded setting. Thanks to the historical reputation of its wines, Château Simone is today one of the jewels of the Provençal terroir. Its fame has brought it, under the elegant classic presentation of its original label, to the most famous tables and those of the finest gourmets. Today, the wines of Château Simone figure very high in the hierarchy of wines in the region.
