Louis Roederer champagne is considered by experts to be one of the finest champagnes in the world. Louis Roederer was founded in 1776. From 1819 to the present day, the house has belonged to the same family. The main characteristic of Roederer champagnes is the use of reserve wines in the composition of the various blends. These exclusive and precious ‘old’ wines give the champagne a great deal of finesse, depth and complexity.
The “Collection 243” Brut Premier cuvée is made from the three Champagne grape varieties from over 40 different crus. It is a blend of six years’ harvest, part of which comes from the Louis Roederer reserve wine collection aged in oak casks for several years. It benefits from a minimum of three years’ maturation in cellars and also a six-month rest period after disgorgement to perfect its maturity. Its fine, elegant style offers, thanks to the reserve wines, a vinosity, roundness and flavours that make it vibrant, fresh and generous. Comes with two Louis Roederer champagne flutes.
The pivot of Champagne excellence, Maison Roederer embodies more than any other the highest idea of the civilisation of these sparkling wines. Having turned to organic farming over the last fifteen years, and involved itself wholeheartedly in an insatiable quest for perfection, the House in Reims has now achieved an absolute that is embodied in its flagship cuvée, its Brut Premier.
Few cuvées can rival Roederer’s Brut Premier. This champagne of body and spirit concentrates the highest standards of the House of Roederer in brilliant voluptuousness.
