Since 1832, traditions have not been lost. In winter, the stills bring that comforting flame that warms the heart. And under the beams blackened by centuries of evaporation, the long process of maturation takes place.

Successive cellar masters have stayed on in succession. They bear witness to the continuity of this traditional know-how in the selection of the best Bas Armagnac products, and in the methods of distillation, maturation and ageing.
Castarede allows its Armagnacs to age longer than required by law, producing Armagnacs of rare finesse.

For over 180 years, the Castarède family has lovingly nurtured a unique know-how in the service of Armagnac, first in their cellars at Pont de Bordes on the banks of the Baïse river, then in their Bas-Armagnac estate, Château de Maniban.

Their commitment and passion for armagnac have remained intact, and the water of immortality has preserved the enthusiasm of their eternal youth.

Presentation of the cuvée:

Aged in oak barrels, it presents notes of light, dry prune, very fine, mellow, very light, fine alcohol that elegantly reveals its terroir, a little Cognac…Surprising in the collection of vintages, atypical!
