Clos La Gaffelière is an elegant and refined Saint-Émilion, produced from a privileged terroir on Bordeaux’s Right Bank. The 2022 vintage impresses with its depth and richness, while retaining the freshness and precision that make the great wines of Saint-Émilion so appealing.

The nose reveals ripe black fruits, including blackberry and plum, complemented by delicate spicy and oak notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, supported by fine tannins and a lovely freshness. The long, persistent finish reveals beautiful complexity.

Presented here in a 1.5-litre magnum, an ideal format for cellaring and special occasions. A characterful wine that will pair beautifully with game birds, roasted rack of lamb, a fine cut of beef or mature cheeses.

Clos La Gaffelière

Located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Clos La Gaffelière benefits from an exceptional terroir that contributes to the finesse and depth of its wines. The estate is part of the history of the great wines of Bordeaux’s Right Bank and produces wines in which elegance, precision and terroir expression take centre stage.

Its vineyards are planted on a mosaic of soils typical of Saint-Émilion, offering particularly favourable conditions for even ripening and beautiful aromatic complexity. The blend, dominated by Merlot and complemented notably by Cabernet Franc, produces generous yet structured wines, with fine tannins and excellent ageing potential.

With the 2022 vintage, Clos La Gaffelière fully expresses the sunny character of the vintage while retaining a freshness that brings balance and elegance. The 1.5-litre magnum is particularly well suited to ageing, allowing the wine to evolve slowly towards greater complexity.
