Petite Arvine flourishes in Limony, in the northern Rhône valley.
This grape variety, originally from the Valais in Switzerland, is very dear to Caroline Frey’s heart, and produces wines with floral finesse enhanced by a beautiful delicacy. This admirable grape variety, which loves the heat but is temperamental in the face of drought, thrives serenely in a small valley perpendicular to the Rhône Valley, sheltered from the wind. The soil, which comes from the colluvium of the Grands Amandiers hillside, is deep enough to protect the vines from very dry spells. Planted on a plot of around 3,000m2 on stakes, the first vintage of this cuvée was produced in 2016.
