The Faiveley family has run the family estate since 1825. In 2005, Erwan Faiveley took over from his father at the helm of the estate, which is one of the largest in Burgundy: 10 hectares of Grands Crus and almost 25 hectares of 1er Crus, including several monopole climats (Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos des Issarts, Beaune 1er Cru Clos de l’Ecu and Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru). The vineyards are very fragmented, with an average of one hectare per appellation. On the whole, the estate’s wines are dense and fruity.
