TASTING

Its imposing and very serious structure during its youth gives way to buttery, honey and dried fruit notes with time. The expression of minerality is more intense compared to the Criots.

WINEMAKING

The wines are generous, very respectful of their terroir, and accessible in their youth in all simplicity.

Our winemaking methods remain classic: fermentation under indigenous yeasts, maturing from 12 to 18 months in oak barrels. Each wine respects the same manufacturing process, and thus gives the best characteristics of its terroir. Only the amount of new oak varies: 15-20% for the Villages, 30-40% for the Premiers Crus / Grands Crus.
Throughout the year, from pruning onwards, we strive to work our vines to give them the best quality potential at harvest time (ploughing, regular soil analysis, annual replacement of dead vines, integrated cultivation…).
