CHARACTERISTIC OF THE APPELLATION
The village of Rully has been inhabited since antiquity, and its wine has long been appreciated. In 1629, King Louis XIII received 22 sheets of Rully wine as a gift when he visited Chalon-sur-Saône. Today, Rully white wine is one of the key appellations of the Côte Chalonnaise.

VINIFICATION & AGEING
Grapes are cut and sorted by hand. The must is extracted using a pneumatic press, then settled. Alcoholic fermentation takes place over 4 weeks, 50% in French oak barrels, 10% of which are new. Aging continues for 16 months, with regular stirring of the lees, while the remainder of the cuvée is aged in vats. This allows the wine to acquire delicate woody notes while preserving its freshness and typicity.
