In 1880, Joseph Drouhin, brought up in the Chablis region, chose Beaune to found the house that bears his name. Over the years and through the generations, the estate has grown, and the passion and know-how have been passed on like a family heirloom to ensure its continuity. Its vocation is Burgundy in all its diversity, and its estate covers all the terroirs of the wine-growing region, with a majority of Premier and Grand Crus.
